As I type many tiny electrons are winging their way to debroglie.net carrying with them, in a round about way, the new updates of Platon for all “live” distros.
O’yes this does mean that my continued updating of Fedora 8 has now finished. I still make the rpms but I no longer upload them to debroglie.net as it is a big chunk of bandwidth and takes a while.
If you need or want the new rpms please leave a comment and I will upload them if appropriate.

A newlook for the website as well as an update of wordpress.
Comments will be activated on newly posts. Let see if there is not too much spam. A plugin must take care most of them.
Ok, so you see the post below regarding updates to platon! Well here is Ton’s latest update to platon with the date:
Feb 15, 2009 - New ALERTS _926,_927,_928
Yes he did release an update the day I uploaded the rpms to the server!
Platon is up2date again for all distros. Lets see how long it takes Ton to change it again from me posting up onto the server?

Ton’s game of waiting to update platon src until the day after I upload the latest rpms to here is still going strong. We are now back up2date with the raw src with the two updates on the 6th and 9th.

Jana 2000 has been pushed in the stable repository.
Fox (objcryst) and its dependency libnewmat is available on this repository for fedora and centos. Both x86_64 and i386 architecture.
As It’s license is opensource, Fox has been submitted to the official fedora repository. But it’s going to take a while before it’s inclusion:
