Update Olex2 and Olex2-GUI

After a recent test of Olex2-GUI rpm it became clear that the update mechanism I had used was not working correctly causing new installs to appear broken. This was exacerbated by a path typo in the Olex2 startup script installed from the Olex2-binaries. I have now fixed both issues and moved the usettings.dat file to …

Platon, CCTBX, Olex2, Olex2-GUI

New rpms for CCTBX, Olex2 and Olex2-GUI have been uploaded to the testing repo (only takes 7 hours to do this) only to find that the CCTBX had a bug so yet another CCTBX was uploaded yesterday (6 hours) to resolve it. All Centos 5 build was using the Epel 5 extras python 2.6 environment …

John Should NOT be allowed out unsupervised!

A slight cockup during my planned update of Olex2, Olex2-gui and CCTBX has sadly left the repo without any archived versions! Sorry. I’ve replaced 10, 11, 12, 13 and Centos with the latest 1.1 version, the CCTBX and I am in the process of doing the same for Fedora 8 (Linpus support). However this will …

Updates and Delays

I was hoping to bring you the latest Olex2 1.1 release for all supported OS but unfortunately it has been hampered by Fedora 13 linker issues with OpenGL. I expect to roll out Fedora 11, 12 and Centos 5 tomorrow morning to the testing repo along with a new CCTBX and Olex2-gui 1.1. I will …

Planet, Platon, CCTBX

Ok, so the planet has stalled slightly because the simplepie feed catcher is running out of puff on the cron process and getting killed. Platon has been updated and all good and there is now a new cctbx in the testing repo. Enjoy

Platon

Sorry world, it looks like I’ve missed two updates during Christmas and the New Year. Platon is currently building for all distros. Will upload later today. I am very sorry, honest as because of this windows users went a head in the release info. One final note this update is getting put into the test …

A raft of updates

I thought, I know I’ll update CCTBX, Tonto-chem, Olex2 and Olex2-GUI rpms for the testing repo. I can do that in a few hours and upload the lot before I leave to catch the train. This is true I could but thanks to me not noticing that Olex2 was pulling an incomplete SVN image or …

Dirdif, DIRDIF, Dirdif

Did I hear you mention DIRDIF? No, well you should be. Dirdif has now joined the ranks of distributed crystallographic programs in our little repo. The builds have just stopped, erm, building and the upload process is, erm, processing. So expect to be able to install dirdif from the test-repo shortly. You can read about …
