Olex2 has now got a version – 1.0 and has been updated. This version resolves a lot of the annoying little issues. The update is broken, the new rpm as a dependency problem.

Olex2 Release Revoked – REVOKED
Olex2 is now in the release repo! The bug was tracked down to a floating point error in the nodoka gnome GTK theme which was being caught by cctbx. The bug is still there in the theme but now cctbx ignores it!

Olex2 Release Revoked
Thanks to a rather nasty crashing bug of doom, in Olex2 it has been moved back to testing. It appears when a scroll bar is dragged or already located on the extreme left. If you are effected by this please just delete your $HOME/olex2 directory and then start olex2 from the menu icon or cmdline. …

Olex2 RPM
Olex2 is now available for testing on the fedora 8 testing repo. The best/easiest way to get it is to install the debroglie yum config file and then using a tool like yumex (yum extender) activate the debroglie-test channel and refresh. You should now see olex2 and be able to install it. Version for fedora …
